Dubrovnik (October 21st - October 23rd)(continued)
As noted I am being chased by winter. My planned route is now to go south through the coastal part of Montenegro and then into Tirane, which of course everyone knows is the Capital of Albania. I have heard that the mountains heading east have already received snow so depending on the weather I may be taking a train into northern Greece. I was planning on taking a ferry to a Greek island and then going into Turkey to avoid Istanbul which I would then visit after going down into the Middle East. As noted earlier though, my cooking stove broke and I will now have to go to Istanbul before heading south. I am looking forward to crossing into Istanbul, the gateway from Europe to Asia and the Muslim world.
